By vote of its shareholders on June 12, 2014, Fiorente Media, Inc. of Boston, Massachusetts has elected Martin D. Cohen, MSW to its Board of Directors. In addition to his role as a Director of the corporation, Mr. Cohen will also serve as the corporations Benefit Director, responsible for assessing Fiorente Media’s progress on its mission to understand the influence of media on human health and to use media to improve the human condition.
Martin is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Metrowest Health Foundation, serving the western suburbs of Boston. Mr. Cohen formerly served as the Executive Director and Senior Consultant of the Technical Assistance Collaborative, Inc., a national health and human services consulting firm. Mr. Cohen also served as a deputy program director and senior program consultant with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and was a deputy assistant secretary in the Massachusetts Executive Office of Human Services. He is on the faculty of the Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry. He holds both a BA and MSW degree from Boston University.
