By vote of its shareholders on June 12, 2014, Fiorente Media, Inc. of Boston, Massachusetts has elected to adopt status as a B corporation under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 156E. The B corporation designation will facilitate the application of the company’s assets to its mission to understand the influence of media on human health and to use media to improve the human condition.
“The B corporation designation gives the Board of Directors and Officers of Fiorente Media the flexibility to pursue its mission, and just as importantly, practice what we preach with regard to our own employees, suppliers, and customers,” said Craig S. The B corporation designation will allow us to make certain business decisions that benefit our employees while keeping an eye on corporate profits.”
Fiorente Media, Inc. is producing a series of life-stage targeted channels with high-quality video programming for internet delivery. The company’s first production is Fiorente HealthDesk – a health news and information channel targeted to Baby Boomers.
